“Hollywood Factory Reset” portrays the film industry as an absurd Rube Goldberg-like machine, endlessly churning out images of the female body for eager consumption. Inspired by the #metoo movement, this satirical animation critiques the outdated gender power structures that still dominate Hollywood. In an act of protest, larger-than-life female provocateurs ignite a rebellious disruption of the factory’s inner workings, offering a cathartic recalibration.
